Longchamp: F/W17 Colours For Nylon Le Pliage

Categories:Other Brands

It’s been a while since I did one of these regarding the new colours that Longchamp’s ever popular Nylon Le Pliage will come in. A tad bit of info for those not in the know, Nylon Le Pliage colours change season after season and can include new colours as well as reintroductions from previous seasons, depending on the line-up from the brand’s design team. And for Fall-Winter 2017, there’s a total of 7 colours you can choose from, for the girly-girl to the more neutral amongst you who want something that’s a tad more timeless.

From Amethyst to Curry, Myrtille to Rouge, there’s also Paon, Pivoine and Putty, all of which you’ll see once you walk into any Longchamp boutique. Upon closer inspection, there are colours that are really fun (Amethyst, Paon and Rouge), that all contrast nicely against the Nylon Le Pliage’s signature brown leather flap. The other 4, Amethyst, Curry, Myrtilleand Putty, are quieter, more neutral (but no less beautiful) colours that go with your everyday outfit.

And in case you have forgotten, the Nylon Le Pliage range comes in a number of shapes that include tote bags (they come with a longer handle) and top handle bags (a shorter and handier version), as well as backpacks and document holders. A true classic in every sense of the word, which of these seven colours will you be adding to your collection?

Longchamp Le Pliage ‘Leopard Flourish’

Categories:Other Brands

longchamp_le-pliage-leopard-flourishThough I’ve lost count of the number of times multi-hyphenate Jeremy Scott has collaborated on the twice-yearly limited edition Le Pliage bags, I’m pleased to announce that the S/S13 instalment, titled ‘Leopard Flourish’, is now available in Singapore.

Priced at SGD514 a pop, the holdall is as eccentric and as extravagant as it gets, and despite Jeremy Scott mixing it up with leopard spots, baroque swirls and the US dollar, it still works for some strange reason I can’t quite comprehend. Fans will lap it up, so be sure to head on down to Longchamp’s new pop-up store at Paragon’s atrium to pick it up. Wallflowers need not bother.

Dive into this article to know how extended the famous ‘Le Pliage’ collection actually is. From totes to shoulders and if you are a fan, even in suitcases.

Le Pliage is unique because it’s crafted from ultra light nylon canvas, the design is stylish and strong at the same time. The tote version is available in all-kind-of sizes and colors, there is certainly one that you will love. And if not, customize one, Longchamp has introduced a new site for everyone to have their Le Pliage bag personalized.

The lighter the luggage, the more you are allowed to take in the airplane. The design is not screaming for attention either, unlike the Louis Vuitton version, which will avoid from people trying to steal your belongings.
