We’ve always admired and respected Louboutin and their zest for great design over the years – now, with their Sweet Charity Backpack, they’ve earned much of our love even more. Nothing says femme fatale like this work of art. Seriously, if you ever get your hands on one of these babies, we’re betting you’ll stand out in a crowd. That’s for sure.

Crafted with the finest snakeskin and smooth, textured leather, the Sweet Charity Backpack is a bomb that’s waiting to explode…in a good way. Styled with crystal and beaded fringe-embellished chain shoulder straps, this bag is out of this world. Leather and gold tone mesh metal constitutes the bag’s centerpiece, a cute bow, with a smooth leather slip pocket at the back. It closes up to a magnetic snap, which keeps your stuff in check.

Measuring 5.5″ x 7.0″ x 2.0″ inches (H x W x D), you can get this baby for $2295 USD or €1595 EUR

Jennifer Lawrence Wears Louboutin Sandals to Comic-Con

Categories:Christian Louboutin

Here’s Jennifer Lawrence, arriving at the Hunger Games panel at San Diego Comic-Con in a pair of strappy black Christian Louboutin Nicobar Sandals. You can find J-Law’s exact sandals for $995 at Neiman Marcus, and this style is currently fully stocked in all sizes. That probably won’t last long, now that they have J-Law’s endorsement.

I always love to see what celebs wear to Comic-Con. It seems to present a special kind of fashion challenge. You don’t want to go too formal, too casual or too high fashion, but something vaguely futuristic-looking is generally appropriate, and a great pair of Louboutins goes a long way. Jennifer gets it spot-on here, I think, though the majority of female celeb guests at Comic-Con tend to opt for much shorter skirt lengths.

Amanda Seyfried Chooses Louboutins for the 2015 Tonys Red Carpet

Categories:Christian Louboutin

Amanda Seyfried attended the Tony Awards this past weekend in a black and gold off-the-shoulder dress from Oscar de la Renta paired with black suede Christian Louboutin Maltaise Sandals. Unfortunately, this strappy little pump appears to be no longer available online, but the brand tells us more are coming (including this exact pair) with Fall 2015 shipments.

Amanda Seyfried had full license to be at the Tony Awards, by the way, and not just because she once starred in the movie version of Mama Mia. Amanda just recently made her off-Broadway debut in Neil LaBute’s The Way We Get By. She also presented an award during the ceremony with her off-Broadway co-star, Thomas Sadoski.

Is This Louboutin Bag the First Evening Backpack?

Categories:Christian Louboutin

As you might imagine, after six years of writing about handbags every day, it’s not often that I see a bag from a major brand and think, Huh, that’s completely different than anything I’ve ever seen. That’s exactly what I thought when I saw the Christian Louboutin Sweet Charity Snakeskin backpack, though, and I’m a little bit obsessed with it.

I follow someone on Twitter who cracked a bunch of jokes about wanting to see someone wear a formal backpack during awards season, and every time she said it, I found myself unable to picture what that would look like. Something with dainty chain straps like those on the Valentino Lock Bag or Chanel Reissue Flap Bag, maybe? As it turns out, the answer lies on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Imagine these jeweled straps over any kind of black dress or top. They’d work on everything from strapless to long sleeves, with any kind of neckline. You wouldn’t need to wear a necklace or earrings–this bag would be your entire look, in a way that bags rarely are, even for those of us who love them. I’m dying to see someone wear it.

Lily James Wears Louboutin’s Ultra-Limited Edition Cinderella Slippers on the Red Carpet

Categories:Christian Louboutin

Lily James, the titular star of Disney’s new live-action Cinderella, donned an ethereal Elie Saab gown and a pair of Christian Louboutin Cinderella Slippers to the movie’s Hollywood premiere this past weekend. These limited edition slippers were first released in 2012, in collaboration with Disney. As you can imagine, they are no longer available for sale, online or in-store, but you can shop a broad selection of Louboutin.

Louboutin’s Cinderellas were originally intended to commemorate the rerelease of Disney’s animated version of Cinderella on Blu-ray and DVD, so it makes sense that they’d reappear here. On a related note, Charlotte Olympia is just about to roll out a brand new, officially licensed Disney collab, complete with PVC “glass” slippers, and Lily dutifully carried a clutch from the new Olympia collection when she wasn’t hard at work showing off those Louboutins.
